okay peoples me a come straight....anyone livin within decent distance of this a venue get down there...its free..the man that own it is givin us free reign to do what we want..that just doesnt mean for CR..im talkin all of you dubbers out there..
this is a serious chance to establish a dub club for people like us..El Bib is comin this sunday 26th April to play...come on lets mek it happen...
future gatherings could be held here ect...im tellin ya you dont get man offer you free club space everyday...specially not inna london....create or hate...yaba

Can i move the PA and studio there ? Permanent soundsystem in the build ?! I dont mind...Probably would have to move there...lol

there's a pa system there wid double cd deck , yr welcome to come and spin some dub's , el bib is comin 2day to do just that , and bring u could bring a mixer and do some live dubin , wicked vibes

I'm working on sorting out a portable live dubbing setup, so if I get that together, I'm well up for a cheap ryanair flight into london and do a gig - wicked. Same here, I got pretty much a monthly spot here in Spain, so if anyone up for it, just let me know......

Yes I; One of the main things, along wid mi acquiring the whole PA and subsequent material ( Both ready for live bands and soundsystem oriented as welll) my main thing is definetly be able to start doing live dubbing sessions/shows( An alesis HD 24 to carry all the set with me, effects processors and a 24 mixer- I think im gonna enmd up with a yamaha, with built-in compressors on most of the mono channels...
I have been sussing out every friggin mixer available in the market up to 2 grand, PA packages, and inidividual items, snake cables( for the live bands events) and few bits and bobs that will go with it ....
My intention is to not only start doing live dubbing shows but also be able to organize my own events; Ill have to go legal; and that and treat it as a business... But my intention is to create an otlet for the many singers, bands and artists , DJ's and selectas here and around, and create the ways and means to earn them some money.
My intention is to make it viable, but at the same time, having everyone profiting from it as well...You know: Getting properly payed for a show ???!!? Instead of the average show for the fun of it ( As many of us only have music production and performing as a DRAIN for our own money lol lol Tell me about it ! lol)
Hopefully that will change ! Im allready working hard for it !

Tim: As soon as i finish this album for the luxembourg artist, and aquire the PA and gear, ill come down and do a LIVE DUBBING session...I have all the material, anyway !
Would love to joing El Bib to me (Been pestering him allready) and turn this project into THE REVOLUTIONARY DUB GATHERERS SOUND SYSTEM, if the involved bredrins agree with it, of course

True, Yaba ! You seem to be following the right path lately ( though i think its a shame that Mac was sacked from the C.R. motley krew; I man think he has a lot of potential, just lacking proper rehearsing and work with him, by someone who can produce and compose for him as a singer, or in your case a band. I definetly gonna try to include him in my live dubbing set, and add him as one of the resident singers to the crew, no doubt...as long as he up for it, of course !).

About what you saying, Yaba : You and I know that theres a lot of "backstreet producers" that even though they dont even release anything at all in any ways or form, but still insist in not even allowing downloads of their posted tracks here (?!?!? the reason for such, we all still wondering of course lol lol lol as it doesnt make sense).
Any basic thick-minded artist/producer knows that friend passing friend his favourite tunes is the best promotion and way of getting heard (as some of these people we talking about dont even allow the radios and DJ's to airplay the tunes, sometimes ?!?!? lol).

But then again, i understand that some only want that: Use music as a therapeutical form ! And i am with them on that ( as i done the same foe years with the midi stuff, back in the days of cakewalk express, Cubase VSt and Cakewalk Pro audio versions...Just a MIDI keyboard, a Cakewalk express-later was the Plasma, predecessor for the sonar; and all the world opened for me and it was wicked to be able to do all that alone at my own home !

But do I a favour : Send I more details of what gear do they have there, what kind of conditions he gave to yous and so on in a PM message, please !
I am really busy with this album, but will surely come and do a proper live dubbing session soon... Jah willing, of course ! This album will take me at least three months to finish, but we are close to half way through; so that means a third of my fee will be coming down my way !

As i said, id love to get contacted by any artists, bands, selectas, DJ's or producers interested in doing some shows in the future... Ill start organizing events close to the end of the summer.

About the UK 2009 gathering : You thinking about doing it there now ?
As the cottage in Glastombury, the place where the show continued that night, would be the idela place for this years gathering as I-Rebel mentioned.
A whole cottage for the gathering a whole weekend, that would also leave us with a place to stay, record and rehearse and continue the gathering through the days as wll...And the price for rental there is super economic, with a big advantage of allready having the massive clientelle existent of the BRSS krew (Bridgwater reggae sound system, that would happilly help us logistically wise). Also there the money raised by the gathering itself would enable us to have a better staged gathering and conditions for all the artists/bands involved by providing some sort of payement/compensation for the expenses... That way it would definetly make it easier and possible to bring almost everyone that should be there, even if they cant ( Like happened with the creation Rockers on this Dub Congress, and some of the crew of the RDW Allstars, and other RDW and Versionist senior members/veterans that should have gone and attend it and didnt due to lack of financial funds.

We definetly need to discuss this soon as possible.
So please foward any ideas and opinions, please ?!
I am sure that this club youre on about wiould be a nice place, but acomodation, and a way to pay for all things is a concern ( In that sense the Breakspear arms wasnt that bad, even though considering we had some kind of ttitude problems with Darren then). But i think we should at least meet the same expectations left hanging , specially after the top notch show/gathering that the DUO El Bib/Phatesemillia staged . The minimum we can do is meet the same level of quality gathering ! And my main concern is try to meet the expenses of any bands and artists performing, and as i said, bring all those veteran members from abroad coutries (Like Jah Billa, I-rebel crew, Don Fe, Rick, Jah slave, etc...).

So, lets share some ideas and thoughts about all this ...so we can start planning things/
Cuz if its to be staged in the Glastombury cottage( which outside london, i think its defoinetly the best option, allowing everyone a place to stay for the duration in the same spirit of the Epplehaus, and even camping space if needed as well), id have to start planning and arranging things now, as i have allready been starting to suss out and make the contacts allready ! So i have an ieda and so on...
