Dj Hypa Snypa and I were conversing on msn messenger when I invited him to join Jahmyspace.com and promote his show that he is putting on in Miami, Florida. This guy said "No thanks, I don't party with freaks". I asked him to clearify that for me and I am convinced that he was clueless of what he was saying. He then stated "Man a rasta and I will not promote my party on Jahmyspace because I do not want any freaks to attend my party".



I then let him know that Jahmyspace.com is not a website of freak gathering. By now I was upset but conducted myself as calmly as I could. I obviously would never help him to promote any of his parties not now nor never after his bad remarks. I let Dj Hypa Snypa know that I am standing 100% behind Jahmyspace.com and we are not freaks. This guy is obviously uneducated for visiting a website url, take one glance and then judge the site that he know nothing of.

Dj Hypa Snypa is a dj that partake in sites such as hi5, myspace, & facebook. He very much so promotes himself and his parties on those social network sites but he don't promote on websites of freaks for he don't want freaks to attend his parties. That was the funniest thing I've heard all day. My Jah help Hypa Snypa and bless him in all his doing.

Omg Spliffington this dj is one long trip and I think he's far from a rasta for he carries around too much badmind. Lol @ freaks on myspace. Myspace i must say loaded with freaks all over and he is on it all the time sending comments promoting his events and the fact that he calls jahmyspace a place for freaks makes me really know him for what he really is. May god help his dj career for it must be hard for him with such ignorance and badmind in his heart and mind.

I must decline adds from nebulous characters on Myspace all week long.
Some emails I'd never discuss here, erase. Gone. Most party adds for reggae dj on myspace are adorned with airbrushed women hardly dressed royal. More coke vibes than herb truly. Gangsta more than conscious.

Jahmyspace is a website that I have respected since day one. Not just because my friend Safira run tings. Gal is a mad serious biz woman and it's great to see her works coming up. I feel for the youth into reggae, Jahmyspace is a highly positive place to be.

Rasta nuh judge book by cover. Rasta nuh hyper Ras jus cool. Rasta nuh sniper or politcal tool. So ease back party bwoy and sekkle yuself straight. Party = freak from my experience. Maybe that's why I skip parties. Rasta don't go to much party either.

Hope you guys work this one out. Be good to see some resolution and peaceful vibes outta this one. Time too short to have needless quarrel.

Well I make reggae parties every weekend and all kinds of human beings of young and middle age show up. Reggae appeals to everyone and for many different reasons.

I dunno wha mek this guy Ras Hyper Sniper a galang so...I've run across less of what I would call 'freaks' on Jahmyspace than on most any other similar community site. You will find a few 'dreader-than-thou's and religious fundamentalists on any reggae-oriented site, & some bwoys out there might consider them 'freaks' but anyhow they wouldn't be the ones who would be interested in the posters of massive cleavage and battyriders hyping Party Bwoy's bashments.

Ok lemme clarify myself. I think if there were some good parties bumpin good sound around here I'd go too. I meant at "parties" people tend to get freaky. Booze. Drugs. Sex. Etc.

When I see a lot of reggae parties advertised tho it seems to go for the low ball. TnA. Drink til you drop. Dutty wine. No judgement really. It's someone elses lifestyle and I don't relate so well. Never find me dutty wine on the floor w some gyal rump bouncing in front of me. I prefer to keep private life in private. Just me. Didn't mean to sound so "dreader than dread" judgement.

Very great points idren. I come to find that it is negative people that always tries to slander positive people. Maybe Dj Hyper Snyper is a freak of a kind and so he hates on people that don't uphold and promote his freaky behaviors. However, he has his rights to break away from our movement and I'm glad that he did when he did. When ever he is on the radio station down here I shall call and give him a piece of my mind (see how he will handle that on the air). lol jk I won't stoop to his freaky levels and put him on the spot. I am myself not in any way in any rasta stuff, but I respect the believes and values of people. You should learn that, Hyper Diaper.
