Default Shout Box

As many of you already know, I deleted my account after posting a reply in the forum, my first in several years (other than dealing with the subject of the "other site" and the occasional Mikey Dread or Zema press release).I was mis-interpreted /wrongfully accused of dissing another artist and calling other artists children. Since I have been back, Rob has removed the shoutbox on the front page at least once for someone having fun with it at his, and the communitie's, expense.
And now, today (Monday) it has started again. While , as i said,
I did not directly call anyone a child ,seeing the shoutbox abused yet a second time makes me wonder ......

I wonder why what happened at the shoutbox is abuse at all. IT IS A DAMN SHOUTBOX!!! And a shoutbox generally is a thing to write in what you are up to write AT THE MOMENT. At Myspace there's a simmilar function and I never had any trouble with "unapropriate content" there.
HERE at RDW I am generally forbidden to use the box by the admin. I am very sorry that I must make this public. Some FREAKS seem to have complained about comments I left there and aparently they have no balls to contact me in person but complain to the site administration instead.
And this goes out to you complainers: Don't you have the balls to copntact me in person if you do not agree with what I'm saying? Are you fooking cowards who need to run to daddy to complain about bad alionsonny hurting your likkle world?
I ovastand that some folks want the shoutbox to be a "big up"-area... but dammit, then declare it as such. Noone can guess, that a feature which is an open communication tool for all purposes, is meant to be a "flower-power-love-everybody-and-dont-say-something-weird"-thing here at RDW. So, call this thing "The hugging box" or something like that would make some sense.
My use of this box was allways meant in a humourous and incomplicated communication way. I let you know in the past about radio broadcastings I did and stuff.

After all, I find it awfull how damn serious each part of a website is taken here. Other communities have less stress with members complaining about this and that. It seems to be a typical reggae thing... or not? Im not so sure about that.

Another thing: That shoutbox is such a small space in the HUGE RDW SITE. Is it worth complaining about possible misuse of a thing, many people do not even see omn the mainpage? I mean, I pointed some folks to RDW to get the details of my radio broadcasting from the shoutbox and I had to send two of them a screenshot of the site with the shoutbox marked... then they found it...

Just my 200 cents and more food for the haters. Bring 'em on!

Blessings to all.
Allion : I man with you...Reggae, Dub , Roots is supposed to be Irie vibes, Positive(Reminds I of Manors wicked track) vibes...Rastas are suppsed to be positive individuals, reggae fans seek in reggae that positivity about InI trod in the musical vibes, even when those vibes talk about the atrocities many of us suffered...Its about getting the good things out of the bad; I man been attacked quite a few time, some of them you seen it(those who saw it) some are through PM's...Still, i man will pay the with InI love everyday. "Hate is what you reward for our love"...
I man also have a sense of humour, and allion saw it recently (leeds?!?!? lololol) and accept it quite well, instead of thinking I man was calling him ignorant !
Allion, ill repeat your words: Come on haters, bring on your hate, i man have enough love for it, and am sure that this community has love abound to muffle, smother that hate you seem to feed on !
No wonder this world is on the state it is...
May everyone bring their thoughts here and be accepted as such, be it seen as good by some or not ! Unfortunately, being a virtual community, well have to abide to certain rules, due to the fact that everything in this world is ruled by money...But lets keep it real !
I man seen it : A loving person can touch few thousands hearts...Wont be different now !
Giving thanks
Ras Bruno

I man dont want to feed the anger even more , but instead show how futile it is to lose time in practising hate deeds...
\\\\\\\\\\\\have you ever tried to think negative while having a big smile in your face? youll see thats impossible.#Same thing was going a while ago with David Pablo, Allion( about giving Crap score without listening to the tracks...); is that really worth it ?
Theres people out there dying of unger, of thirst, by stupid wars...Why not concentrate that energy in something more creative, effective?
Compose about your anger instead, or use that energy promoting blessed works, spreading good deeds... Youll see its more rewarding !
things happen for a reason: dont let that gift most you been given get lost in such mere low acts and thoughts...
Good intentions do pay and this community is a real proff of that !
Give thanks
Ras Bruno

First, Rasta does not control reggae.Sure they had a hand in creating it, but they do not control it.Watch Deep Roots Vol 3 and you'll hear none other than Bunny "Striker" Lee,who produced some of the wickedest roots tracks ever (Johnny Clarke's "None Shall Escape The Judgement" and Horace Andy's "Money" to name just a few) say this.

YouTube - Deep Roots 3 'The Bunny Lee Story' v4

I do not see anwhere on this site that it's a Rasta site.I see "reggae-dubwise"....

This thread is not about "hating"-far from it.It's about being PROFESSIONAL and maintaining a PROFESSIONAL look to this site. I have nothing against humor and had a short laugh about the Sid and Johnny exchange (for those who do not know what I am refering to).

As mentioned before, Rob cannot be everywhere and here/see everything on this site.
It is up to us as a community to stand up and speak out when we see things that are un-professional/endagering the community. If you saw a crime being commited on the street where you live, against your neighbor ,are you going to stand by your motto of "concentrat"ing "that energy in something more creative, effective",and "composing about your anger instead" ? Of course you would not.
You are however, implying folks like myself and Sonny should simply keep our mouths shut and let folly and anarchy rule

Suppose everyone keeps there mouths shut,"composing " instead of speaking out, and leave it all to Rob to spot things on his own, whenever he has the time (this site is not his life). If and when this site disapears because someone was simply having what they thought was innocent fun, how many of you reading this are going to say to themselves "wow, I should have said something"?

But that's then, this is now.To close this post on a possitive
tip, here's a few quotes from H.I.M. Haile Selassie I :

" We must speak out on major issues courageously, openly and honstly, and in blunt terms of right and wrong"

"Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph."
-H.I.M. Haile Selassie I

PS: Sonny, I'm sorry to hear that you are all but banned from the shoutbox. While I did find your interstellar exploits to be interesting, alas,it was a bit off subject. You did, have ever, use your real name at least(and not that of a dead bass player)

"A house built on granite and strong foundations, not even the onslaught of pouring rain, gushing torrents and strong winds will be able to pull down.

I don't think that I have ever seen such an over-reaction about anything, anywhere, ever than David Pablo's reaction here to a few lines from someone having fun on a chat box.

Do you really think John Lydon is patrolling the net looking out for people using his name in vain??

Have you really got nothing better to worry about, David?
If I hadn't read it I wouldn't have believed it.

Go make some music man.

i was just thinking that.
Even if he was I can't imagine he would have much of a legal position if someone is using his name in an annonymous chat box

You are not reading my first post (which this thread is about). Rob REMOVED the shoutbox once before, for folks having some "innocent "fun with the shout box and using names of real people other than themselves. The J Lydon thing is simply an example.Perhaps Rob should remove it once again?
