We have been working out some edges with the Artist Genre. You may notice many of you are PRODUCER. I hope the genres we have chosen are adequate. My feeling was to just axe the artist genre but there has been some push for them and it will be easier to just work with it. There is a No Specified Genre for those that wish not to be boxed in. Also a Producer, Engineer, Musician and Singer/DJ for those of us who juggle many roles.
Let me know how you it works for you.

dunno about the producer/artist stuff but im liking the music categories... just logged in & there's a few ragga jungle & dubstep/techno tunes on the front page, quality. let's just hope the dubstep genre is actually dubstep & not stepper dub.
I'm surprised there aren't more "Riddim Producers"...
It's difficult to pigeonhole oneself, I mean so many of us wear all the hats (musician, engineer, producer, singer/artist, writer, etc.) and that's what makes it ruff to commit to one handle...
