I been trying to do this for ages now, and aint getting anywhere. I have a 70 minute mixtape which I want to flow seamlessly in CD players, yet also want to mark the individual cuts....... I used to do this with an old version of Soundforge, but cant seem to get it to work anymore. PLEASE, anyone got any ideas about what FREE program I can use to do this? All attempts have been in vain, and I have to hand it in on Saturday! Arghhhhhhh------- any help much appreciated. Blessup! |

Why dont you cut it where you want it and disable the spaces between the tracks in the burning software? I done that a few times in the old version of nero(which i dont use anymore anyway...
This, if im understanding properly what youre trying to explain of course ! Ras Bruno

just try with cd architect , you could have a free trial here
:Sony Creative Software - CD Architect 5.2 i think the trial version is enough if it's only for one cd... |

Try this one, mate.
Software to Burn CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. Download CD/DVD/Blu-ray Burner Software Free. A guy I know uses it, because he is allways short at money ;-) It must do the trick somehow. Old rule I follow since my developer days: "It's all there. It's somewhere in the settings". You can bet this is true for most hardware&softwareprobs. |

Soundforge does this very well - sounds like the problem is in the quality of the CDs to me. In my experience standard Sony CDs are better than more expensive or cheaper alternatives as they work on most players, including all the CDJ decks in the 20 odd venues I played in over the last few years. Never managed to get TDK to work on any CDJ player.
First thing I'd do is burn one without breaks and see if that works in the players. If it does, but the ones with breaks don't, then the problem is probably in your burning software or the burner itself. |
