Pama Intl have released 5 critically acclaimed albums, recorded 2 Radio One Sessions and played triumphant sets at Glastonbury, Womad, Respect, Wickerman, Bestival, Beautiful Days and many more festivals. They've performed alongside Jimmy Cliff, Prince Buster, Lee Perry, The Skatalites, Toots & The Maytals, Mad Professor, Mick Jones' Carbon/Silicon, Don Letts, Madness and Easy Star All-stars, creating a huge grassroots following, with a live show that has become second to none. 2006 saw them become the first new band in 30 years to sign to Trojan Records.
Getting back to their deep-rooted DIY philosophy Pama Intl have now launched their own Rockers Revolt label (through Universal). In the continued promotion of 'Love Filled Dub Band' Pama Intl are back on tour this summer, including 10 dates on their 'Reggae For The People' tour, with support from; The Slackers (USA’s premiere interpreters of Jamaican music), The Pietasters (from Washington DC, the band that backed James Brown!) and Mungos Hi Fi (Scotland’s No1 Sound System)
Each night of the tour promises a nonstop exploration of the best ska, rocksteady, reggae and dub in the world today, kicking off from the minute doors open with the superb Mungos Hi Fi (before, during and after each live act), followed by an unbeatable live bill. To conicide with the tour, Rockers Revolt (dist.by Universal) are releasing new albums by all four acts.
