Default Lo-Fi streaming............

I just posted a new tune and for a change I thought I would listen to the lo-fi version.
Hellfire!!! It really changes the mix - its as if someone else has remixed it and got a bit carried away with a really naff phaser
It's bizarre - it really brings out different elements of the mix when you lose all those frequencies top and bottom - I assume thats whats happening anyway..........
in my case I quite like the effect but you guys who are a little more sensitive about how your work sounds and how it is presented to your listeners might want to check out your own lo-fi versions.............
cheers
ali

but lowfi is really only for 56k streamers. If your on dialup its the only thing you could listen to. Real trade off in quality vs speed. Sounds like shite at 8mbs broadband though

Yeah what he said
shite sound..
LOL
Made the mistake of streaming someones tune in low fi once. Almost left a review sayin "what the f*ck" hahah, and then realised it wasn't the hifi version!
Don't get me wrong. I like low fi when its analog recordings. But low fi digital is just a muddy mess.. Kinda on par with listenin to tunes on am radio I'd say...
haha
