Default Versionist Dot Com/net For Sale

Welcome to Versionist!

"....If anyone thinks they could do a better job, or if the owner of the other site (that is based on the platform I announced first) would like to buy Versionist.com, please be in touch with me. I have a substantial investment here but I am always open to serious offers. In fact, the old site is still available as well for about one more week- and then it is gone...Versionist.com is still and always will be Versionist.com. But all things must change (George Harrison 1969...)

Steve"

Would be great to buy it and then merge everything back into one site named Versionist ReggaeDubwise!

RDW offers 1500 usd for both sites. (old and new)
RDW would pay fees associated with keeping the old sever up until we could unload it.
RDW could archive all old versionist.com posts into this forum.
RDW could take all old versionist.com tracks and jukebox them.
RDW would merge the sites into one.

The domain had value but it has declined over the past year. Since the site moved to the (NET) google has dropped close to 50,000 links out of its search engine alone. This will continue as google reindex the broken links out.

Most versionist.com members already post here. The only thing we gain is the old archive. That is really what we would be purchasing

If current owner would like to dicuss this please email admin@reggaedubwise.com

It shows one more time the credibility and constructivity of the RDW admins, that they do take this offer for serious.Respect for that!!!This move could cover the gap that now has come up in the community, but if "the drama" continues another month,i guess all will have solved by themself,as the quality of RDW speaks for itself....

Peace

now that would be cool,as my cd burner isnt working and i frantically downloaded hundreds of tracks from the old site before it dissapeared and have to send them to my bruv to cd for me,he,he must have about 200 e mails so far.be cool to retain the old name in some way or other,as thats where many of us met and formed relationships etc.the versionist august uk gathering is still definitely happening. first and second of august at the breakspear, harefield, middlesex, london.i feel personally that this may be the last one done under this name.unless there is some sort of merger or there are major changes there by august,as the present owner seems to have his own agenda and doesnt really seem bothered by the views of some of the longer standing members of that community.so thats that.im sure the bredren/sistern that gather in august will continue to meet up regardless if its under the name of versionist, reggae dubwise or some other moniker as strong bonds and friendships have been forged between many.as i said, the event in august is free to all and be nice to see some faces from here there as all the artists performing are members of reggae/dubwise as well.actually it may be a good idea to put the names of both websites on the poster flyer as i seem to find myself here a lot more than at versionist these days.

My dedication is to the ReggaeDubwise.com community.
Every core member of Versionist.com is on ReggaeDubwise.com. I'm thankful that the site is working out for everyone in it's first weeks.
