Yeah, but the only thing Versionist.net has and what RDW has not is that back catalogue. If Steve gives a copy to RDW, he will have nothing left. That's what I mean.

This is a situation which does not only infect the two sites, but the whole reggea community. I feel that there are issues further then just the data etc.
I second the Lion of tribe, and feel that this is a problem to be solved internally and not over forum posts. More then half the people here just focus on things which are just part of the problem IMHO!!! I dont know it either but my feel say's... what has happend to 'live, love and unity', why not work together. Aggresive words and statements make's us no better then the average bussiness-man.
Both have invested and are still doing...

sorry but steve is a fool. how many people warned him or tried to offer their advice/services to bring the site forward? he took no notice, even when every single one of the few that used to post in the forum said they were leaving. Now its a ghostship and he still doesnt care and carries on with the delusional 'the site is growing everyday' mantra.

Even I tried to support Steve when old V was up and thought he was okay and trying to help.
But there's a difference between being positive and being naiive.
Really. Steve seems to really have his own, very self serving agenda, and is coming off as someone only interested in one thing alone.

Steve is not a bad guy, in fact he is a good man who had good intentions for the site. In my opinion he underestimated the passion and I'll also use the word fanatacism many of us have for the old V.com.

There is hope for the transferring of the old catalogue to RDW. Let's see how talks progress.

I'll try to keep everyone updated. That is if the two parties agree to have me mediate as I am friends with both.

Waiting to hear back from Rob.

Folks, I'm off this thread. As I see it I am again the "shit stirrer" just because I keep my eyes open and recongnize REALITY. I refuse to put on the pink sunglasses of "Love, Peace and Applepie" because I ma look like one, but I am no Hippie. Just let me tell you this: I laugh about all the stuff, because when I warned people a time ago about the way Versionist goes, they told me the same as now: "Stop that negativity Sonny!" So, I think again some people will blend away the cruel reality and dream until it goes boom again and another bumboclaat shituation is ante portas.

GET IT: Most of the world is capitalism oriented and so is Steve. That's not talking bad about him. Nearly everybody works for Babylon the one or the other way currently. AND he is a MAN. Rob is a man, and my experience tells me, that it all may be a question of money, it may be a question of misunderstandings, but in the first place I think Steves behaviour is related to him being a man and a man doesn't take a blow like this without at least turn it into a likkle dance.

So, and now.. nuff words. Solve your problem, because Its not mine. I have all my tunes here on my harddisk and 3/4 are now uploaded. I don't need the forum bumboclaat from the PHPBB-Days of V, including the "Spiritual&Reasonings"-Forum *LOL*
