Yes , depends a lot of what kind of outs you want, if through an interfece like firewire or direct Outs(jack's/Rca's etc)...
If youre using an old style Mixer you need a direct out, but i been flirting the new yamahas mixer 12 channels digital , with Transport controls compatible with cubase(that would force I to use it more lol). That would mean a transition to Firewire interface also...
For what you seem to need i think that the m-audio delta 1010LT is quite a nice one considering quality/price ratio...But, a lot of options were gaven here( Music Freaks aint we ? lolol)
