Ahh, human language is such a blessing *LOL* I meant the following arts:

Hermetic Qabalah, a syncretism of Kabbalah within Hermeticism
Hermeticism, a magical and religious movement stemming from the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus.

But this is by far not everything. King Solomon was one of the best known users of those arts, but as I allready said, rather the left hand path. He used (among other techniques/arts) hermetic principles to summon and control demonic entities and some "things" not describable in english language (if in any human tongue at all). These days some "modern magi" fall for the same trick as the magi of the ancient days: They think they discovered something nobody discovered ever before AND they think, as they "discovered" the secret claviculi (*LOL*) they are able and born to handle what lies beyond the doors they open.

Curiosity killed the cat
